“This project is not about street photography, nor about New York. It does not have anything to do with a search for spontaneity or the pursuit of new ways of looking. This side of nowhere is about me, about being alone in the world. This project is about how I look at the world: posing no questions but looking for answers that resonate with me”.
This exhibition portrays a selection of 23 pictures, taken on 4 trips to NY between 2017 and 2019. Taking a close look, one can see the type of subject García is interested in: homeless, artists, children, strong women, eccentric people and dogs, all dogs, because often they can be more human than humans
