Marla Jacarilla’s exhibition “El vuelo de un colibrí…” opening on April 29th

The artist Marla Jacarilla presents the exhibition El vuelo de un colibrí aviva las llamas de una pira de fotogramas ardiendo (The flight of a hummingbird fans the flames of a pyre of burning frames) at Projekteria [Art Gallery] 

You are invited to the official opening reception that will take place on Thursday, April 29th from 6 pm to 9 pm, in the presence of the artist.

The exhibition consists of a 3-part installation: a video loop, a photography mosaic and photographies combiend with thes. The project raises a reflection on how we produce and consume images in the contemporary moment, relating it to cinema: the history of cinema, how it foresees its possible futures, and how our relationship with images will be in these possible futures.

The exhibition can be safely visited with or without an appointment, as the gallery is complying with all the measures for COVID-19 spread prevention.
